Established in 1991 and located in the North-East of Italy, our forging shop is specialized in open-die forgings from small to medium sizes, weighting from 100 kg up to 10.000 kg, in all kind of grades: carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel (austenitic, ferritic, martensitic), Duplex and SuperDuplex.
The Plant covers a surface of 11,000 m2, of which 3,000 m2 are indoors while 8,000 m2 are dedicated to the storage of steel ingots of various grade and weight and cooling-in-air areas.
The forging plant is equipped with 6 heating furnaces and 2 oil dynamic presses, having a power of 900t and 1500t respectively, each with an integrated manipulator, and assisted by 2 rubber-wheel manipulators with a capacity of 5t and 12t respectively.
A new 3000t press will soon be operative, increasing the production capability to more than 20.000kg.
The heat-treatment department, equipped with 10 furnaces and 6 quenching tanks, can execute all kinds of heat treatments, such as: annealing, normalization, quenching & tempering, solubilisation, stress relieving.
Two mechanical workshops, equipped with CNC parallel and vertical lathes, as well as multi-axis milling machines, provide rough-machined or finished products, according to Clients’ drawings.
Before being delivered to the Customers, all goods undergo several tests to meet the required certifications: ultrasonic and dye-penetrant examinations; tensile, impact and hardness tests; micrographics; chemical composition and dimensional checks.
